Reusable vs single-use links

Understand when to use a one-time link versus a multi-use link.

Written by Team Ops

When creating a link, the Allow multiple payments toggle decides how it behaves after a payment.

Single-use (default)

The link accepts one successful payment, then switches to Paid. Use it for a specific, one-off amount — a deposit or a balance.

Reusable (multi-use)

Enable Allow multiple payments: "The link will stay active after each payment and accept multiple payments of the same amount." The link keeps its Pending status and carries a Multi-use badge, and you'll see a running count ("3 payments received").

When to use it: a shared link for a group where several travelers each pay the same amount.
