Create a payment link

Generate a deposit, balance or custom payment link and choose payment methods.

A payment link lets your client pay online. It's created on an alternative and is capped at the amount still left to collect.

You can only create links once Stripe Connect is active (see Getting started → Activate your Stripe account).

Steps

  1. On the alternative, click "Generate a link." The "New payment link" modal opens.

  2. Description — what the client sees, e.g. 30% deposit.

  3. Amount — type it, or use a one-click shortcut:

    • 30% deposit

    • 50%

    • Balance (everything left to collect)

  4. Allowed payment methods — pick at least one:

    • Card"Instant payment by card."

    • SEPA debit"Bank debit for customers in the SEPA area." (EUR only)

  5. (Optional) Allow multiple payments — see "Reusable vs single-use links."

  6. (Optional) Expiration date.

  7. Click "Generate link.""Payment link created."

Link allocation

The modal shows a live Link allocation bar so you never over-collect by accident:

  • Already reserved — amounts tied up in other active/draft links

  • This link — what you're entering now

  • Left to link — what remains

If you exceed the balance, you'll be warned: "This amount exceeds the available balance. The booking will be over-paid."
